Senegal Global Tours was established in Dakar in 2005 to provide travel and tourism services.   The main aim of this multidisciplinary team is to provide total satisfaction to its clients.   What is our primary goal? In the center of the land of the setting sun, embark on a "thousand and one nights" trip with Senegal Global Tours. These extensive and diverse itineraries will transport you to the uncharted territories of unparalleled splendor in Senegal. Through the Lompoul desert, the Dindéfello waterfalls, and genuine villages and tribes with ancient customs, we will follow animal trails to the Bédik and Bassari regions. We take a classic pirate tour of the Saloum Islands, the Niokolo Koba National Park, the Djoudj and Langue de Barbarie bird sanctuaries, etc. We'll learn about the Green Casamance's lush surroundings, the island of Gorée with its "House of Slaves," one of the only surviving witnesses to a terrible chapter in human history: slavery, as well as the colonial cities of Saint Louis and Pink Lake.

Depart early in the morning and arrive at the Ndangane harbour pier around 9am. Arrival and boarding by traditional pirogue to visit the Bird Island and listen to the loud cackling of pelicans, cormorants, herons and seagulls in their natural habitat.

After disembarking at the seaside camp to access the facilities, a short walk of 300 to 400 meters will take you to the village of Mar Lodj, a typical Serer fishing and farming village where animists, Christians and Muslims live in perfect harmony. During the visit you will discover its church, mosque, customary court,  telephone tam-tam and its sacred tree, symbol of the understanding between the three religions practised on the island. Afterwards, you can enjoy a drink or lunch at the restaurant. Return to the boat and explore the smallest parts of the mangrove swamp. Return by pirogue to the landing stage, then on to Dakar.

Dakar City Tour and Goree Island

Upon pick up at your hotel we’ll proceed to :

 * Dakar:

-  The Mosque of Divinity :, a wonderful example of Islamic architecture. You will stop here for the photoshoot.

- African Renaissance Monument : Striking monument of 21st century Africa, it offers a panoramic view of the city of Dakar. You will have an opportunity to take pictures and view the city landmarks from the monument. (Possibility to visit the exibition inside it fot 10 €uros extra charge)

- Presidential Palace : Visit of the presidency, built for the former French Governor, and it now serves as the official home of the current sitting president.

- Kermel Market : It is a beautiful circular building, the fish traders have their place in the center, after come butchers in the next circle, vegetable and fruit dealers together with florists can be seen outside the building, you will find typical African souvenirs such as jewelry, masks, and sculpture

- Visit of the Cathedral of Dakar, the

- The Black Civilizations museum : This is one of the most educational and historical place in Senegal. With an area of ​​15,000 m2, this modern museum is dedicated to African civilizations, where more than 18,000 pieces are currently exhibited, ranging from the remains of the first hominids, which appeared in Africa several million years ago, to creations current artistic. This pan-African project highlights Africa’s contribution to cultural and scientific heritage resolutely turned towards the future (Possibility to visit the exibition inside it fot 6 €uros extra charge)
